We had a great experience working with Solid Rock Construction. We have an old home with a sagging front porch. They were recommended by our contractor to raise and reinforce the porch and did an awesome job. Their Project Managers, Brianna and Luke, kept us informed of their timeline and plans. Even though it was a small project, we felt like we were still a priority for them. They got the work done quickly, and even ended up being under budget for us. We appreciate their work quality, honesty, and communication!
We absolutely do not recommend Solid Rock Construction. Here is why. We hired Solid Rock in February 2022 to do a large-scale remodeling project for our home in Shoreview. Due to COVID, they did not start the project until August 15th, 2022. On September 13th, 2022, we found our home being engulfed by flames at around 6:45pm. When I signed the contract with Solid Rock in January 2022 to remodel three bathrooms and replace doors in my house, I was told that it would start late summer. In September I started selecting items. When they give you a time frame, ask what it means. I was remodeling all three bathrooms and updating the faucets in all. I asked why the tub/shower fixtures weren’t included in the options. I was told that it wasn’t in the project. That added $1,700 to the project. I hired Solid Rock to finish our partially finished basement. We are very happy with the results and with everyone we worked with! Right from the start, Solid Rock was responsive and timely in their communication. They gave me a lot of great advice and helped me to edit my ideas to fit within our budget. I would definitely use this company again for future projects. Thanks everyone!
