I can’t say enough good things about Marty and the crew at Solid Iron. We were in the middle of a family RV trip, all the way from Texas. When we found a serious crack in the A-frame tongue of our bumper pull camper. I figured our trip was about to be over. Instead, these guys made my problem their problem. I’m not one to leave reviews but this place was truly worthy of one. I went down there to have a front hitch receiver for my truck modified as it hung down to low for my liking. In the end, I left with a custom front hitch receiver (and my original one in the bed of my truck) for what was a VERY reasonable price. They took me in as a walk in customer and had the job done in less then 3 hours. I know this will sound scripted but as somebody who does restorations on vintage machines, I have a good eye for details and quality. ... read more

While on a 45 day cross country journey, we needed a brake issue for our RV looked at. While the brakes were being replaced the technician noted a frame crack on our RV. Marty was out of town on Friday but made a point of showing up on a Saturday morning to weld the cracked frame. Saved the day for us!!! I called this company just after lunch today, because, in a PM check before we leave the Glacier National Park area, we discovered a shackle hangar bracket had completely failed on our 5th wheel. We needed to get out of this site tomorrow, Sunday, but couldn't move the RV safely. The owner was in CA on travel, but answered his phone and then called an expert welder, also on his day off, who said he would come straight out.
