Great organization! Really trying to help facilitate relief-efforts for the low-income & other people in need of assistance. With the very limited amount of resources available to the low-income folks, & losing those we do have every year, we need more organizations to do the kind of work that they do at Solid Ground, even more than ever before. Solid Ground engages more than 100 AmeriCorps and VISTA Members each year, to provide a year of service in the community. Members work on a wide array of anti-poverty projects throughout Seattle/King County, receive a small living stipend and a post-service AmeriCorps Education Award.
