This is an update to a review ive done for Maty . Maty has been my intern counselor for close to a year now and I can say that she has really turned a new leaf for me ,if I had looked at myself before I reached out to her compared to now , all I can say is that I was in a horrible place , a very depressive state at that . Maty has been helping me become a better version of me in the last couple of months , I definitely appreciate the teachings and disciplines she provides, especially the attitude she brings to the conversation. Maty is flexible with working around my hectic schedule, which is a huge plus , although I need to be more consistent on my adherence to a planned session :) . Definitely more sessions are in the works but looking forward to them . Wouldn't have found someone as great if I hadn't gone through via Open Path
We refer to Solid Foundations often. They have a stellar group of clinicians and comprehensive couples therapy treatment. We really enjoy working with Irene and her practice!
Solid Foundations is my go to for all things relationship related. The staff is knowledgable and always willing to collaborate to share resources. Their dedication to being life-long learners, and commitment to their clients is always apparent.
I won't give any advice but I will offer my experience: My partner and I only went here twice. We were going through a lot as he had moved in quite recently (although we had been dating for 5 years), our communication was terrible, and he would angry at the drop of a dime. I thought there might be a lot of underlying resentment due to my history of substance use in the past and really wanted to work through this.
