Nico Simeone get a grip - you've grown too big, too quickly and you're eye is off the ball re quality and standards. We were buzzing to go here after seeing a social media advert promoting the Sunday lobster steak meal. We left very underwhelmed. The starter was the best bit by far. Lobster/prawn slider and Salmon on toast (can't remember what it was listed as but it was delicious.) The lobster was absolutely tiny compared to the ones in their facebook promo! The initial service was good, food was OK, but had burnt bread which wasn't good. Service faded, no follow up to see if food was OK. Mentioned issues but no reply or resolution. Shame because it has great potential.
Considering the multitude of great seafood restaurants nearby, I wouldn’t suggest anyone goes to Sole Club. Restaurant is very small and furniture cheap. We were in booth and it was very cramped with the bench moving as people behind us got comfortable. Food was ok at best. Nothing terrible about it, flavours were pleasant but not special and many dishes were the same. A lot of options were fried and not good variety. Both servers were very helpful and welcoming.
Seating was cramped, and the service was rushed. The food all tasted similar, but the Romanian wine was fab! All in all extremely disappointing.
