I have given this practice multiple chances, continuing to return in hopes that I’d see a different provider or that things might improve, but nothing has changed. The nurse practitioner I saw, Patricia Delate, has no bedside manner—she comes across as cocky and arrogant, not compassionate or caring. I had to wait two days for an appointment just to be told when I arrived that being uninsured it would be $250. Which obviously is more than the $175 that I brought with me. I drove almost hour from Nikiski. I just don’t get it. Why bother wasting the appointment time when I could’ve driven myself to the emergency room 2 days ago. I have a college degree they don’t exactly teach us how to use the medical system.

I had an overall great experience at Soldotna Family Practice. The staff was courteous and professional and helped me get taken care of quickly. I was able to get blood drawn for labs, prescriptions renewed, and the annual exam completed before the deadline, and all thanks to the efficient help from Taylor at the front desk. Her quick thinking and last-minute schedule adjustments allowed me to complete all of my necessities and made my experience one of the best I’ve had at a medical facility.
