Ugh this place…. After they hid bodies in the basement during covid they found themselves trying to “clean it up”. The undertone of racism is serious in this building especially with the black nurses. They put on paper that I made a major med error but I in fact did not. On Juneteenth they make it their business to not consider their staff or residents. Bottom of the barrel supervisors. I was having treatment at the Soldier's Home until Covid. The called & told me I was no longer eligible because of VA.

Highly would not recommend working here. Other than the fact that 70+ patients DIED under multiple peoples licenses, But also I got terminated because they hired me pregnant & didnt want to accommodate my maternity leave because I “haven't worked there long enough” now all of a sudden Im “not a good fit for the position” because I want to take my leave at 34 weeks lol definitely discrimination & I will be taking legal measures!

Terrible treatment of vets, swearing at them, shaming them, telling them to urinate in their briefs instead of urinals, degrading them, not changing gloves in between patients, arguing and threatening to staff from other staff, poor management, nurse telling aids 30 minute breaks aren't allowed even for an 8 hour shift which is the law. When mentioned to management , fell on deaf ears. I would never send any vet there.
