On Lake Superior! Cozy rooms or cabins with microwave, 2 burner stove, refrigerator, sink, deck, table, and chairs. There are cabins and suites to rent. Prices are very reasonable. In the heart of the North Shore of Lake Superior with hiking, biking, canoeing, fishing, sightseeing, and shopping nearby. Great place to start or end a BWCA adventure. Dogs allowed. It’s a good value.
Nice rooms, great owners, great location, beautiful view.
Great location. Cabins could use renovation - very poor plumbing, no dishwasher, not very clean (I don't think they wash floors after every visitor, but rather sweep), uncomfortable mattresses. For the money they charge, the cabins are pretty run down. Bottom line - you are mostly paying for the location, prepare for a very minimalistic stay, almost a campsite experience.
Visited friends a couple years ago when they had a cute little cabin late winter. So clean and cozy! Can't wait to come ourselves. Great lake views.
