not a good wash for the past 6 months, was fine when new but not maintained well, too often the gate is closed during business hours, one lane often shut down, last week one side of the wash did not work, air dryer ineffective and vacuums, well try to find one operating. dont forget to get out and clean your windows or go thru twice,, but not today, unlimited will not allow it.
When the gate is open they often have only one lane working, left side brush was broke down last week, better run thru twice to get it half way clean, and the dryer, get out and wipe those windows yourself. Oh yeah, they hate bad reviews. Maybe do a better job.!!! I was trapped for 15 minutes Saturday at another break down, no way out, not moving, no one cared. Love solar shine. By far better than the place I used to visit in Monroe. The staff are friendly and everything works as it should.
SolarShine Express Car Wash, Monroe NC....dissappointing On 12 February of 2026 our new 2026 Hyundai Sonata incurred a cracked windshield. When the vehicle entered under the first upper brush there was a loud bang. Upon exiting the SolarShine Express Car Wash the vehicle was examined but no noticeable damage was found. Later that afternoon we observed a large crack in the windshield. This has resulted in having to replace the windshield at a cost of $1048.00 at our cost.
