Reluctant to get solar because of roof penetrations. Loved the idea of SolarPod Crown. My roof now generates as much power as I use, including 12k mi/yr in my EV. Update 6 years in: Squirrel damage to cables & microinverters shut down 5 panels. Repaired after 4 month wait for replacement microinverters. Old microinverters appear to have lost about 14% output compared to new.

Great experience working with these folks; I chose them after having a family member do a self-install of panels with SolarPod. While self-install was not an option for our home, SolarPod was terrific to work with throughout the process.

SolarPod was a great company to work with! They took care of all the paperwork and got the Eagan Minnesota building approval process done quickly. I used their Z-Rack system so I have zero holes in my roof and no heavy concrete to weigh it down. I used their 5.92kw system in 2021, upfront cost on their Z-Plan PPA was $8880 and only $275 a year for 7 years after. I plan to purchase the remaining part after the 7 years.
