I contacted Solaris to have a garage apartment on my property separately metered. They required me to pay 60% of the project cost upfront as a deposit. By the time they were ready to begin the work, a tenant had already moved into the apartment. Since the purpose of the separate meter was to have it installed before the unit was occupied, I canceled the project and requested a refund. I first requested the refund in April.
