Dealt with a great sales rep named Bill Thompson. Answered all questions. Couldn’t say enough positive things about my experience.
We have had a system in place since 2013. We recently started experiencing bills from the grid 600% greater than 2016 along with GFI and Low RISO readouts on panel. SolarCity/Tesla refuses to send tech to inspect system. Their standard answers are it's the electric companies fault or your system is working as designed. They have no customer support other than lip service. After 3 months Solar City admits panels are faulty. They will replace?? at some point. So far I am very unhappy with this company. I have had two appointments with a sales person and they have been VERY late both times!!! And the girl doesn't even seem apologetic that she has wasted my time, not once but twice!! The man that did the inspection was very nice and professional. But because of the lateness and how unhappy i am, I might not even go through with my solar panels. So unprofessional
I had been considering solar energy for quite some time. The sales rep was awesome, patient and took time to explain all the details. Installation was relatively quick and trouble free. Had first 6 months very smoothly. Power guide was very reliable for metering and monitoring. Billing was spot on! In January, my invertor failed. This ended up with over 6 weeks of down time.
