I wanted to share my experience but for some reason my review keeps getting taken down. Matt came over to my parents house to give them a proposal for solar few months back. When Matt showed up he came with another guy he introduced as the installer. My parents are elderly and old school. My dad felt like the whole thing was shady considering we come from a family of contractors, so I put on my investigating pants and I went to work and I found out that Matt with Solar by Sexton has no contractors license. I had checked out this company while I was in the process of going solar. While trying to find out more about this company, I could not find them on CSLB for having their own active contractors license. Consumers be aware doing business with fake unlicensed contractors. If this guys are presenting a license number that does not have their name behind it is illegal. Matt can you respond to this concern with your California license number that allows you to do this type of work.

I was referred to Solar by Sexton by a local realtor and I couldn't be happier. Matt was a delight to work with and the subs were professional and friendly. I just try calling to get some more information and no one answered, no big deal. I am looking to go solar but it does not appear like you guys have a contracting license with the state of California. My friend just went through a nightmare dealing with unlicensed contractors I'm just curious if this is a similar situation.
