It's an awesome place. Went there for a cornhole tournament and really enjoyed the atmosphere. While there I ate chicken tenders and fries and an enjoyed a few labatts. I would go back again.
The beach is gorgeous and at the state park grounds, sandy. All around though lots of pretty stones and tons of beautiful uniquely formed driftwood. The windmills are just down the shore. The park keeps it's area clean. The fragrant air was delightful, unlike many other area beaches. We were there after Labor Day so no food or anything available. Though large, clean restrooms are. There is a blue mat you can walk on to the beach. It's easier than sand and also, I think, a wheelchair could get through.
