We had a great experience with Soil Direct. Ordered playground mulch for home delivery. Agents on the phone were polite and offered next day delivery. Product was exactly what we wanted (same as city playgrounds in Menlo Park). Delivery driver, Alejandro, was outstanding. He maneuvered the truck in tight spaces without causing damage, positioning it so that most of the load would dump into a play area enclosed with a low wooden wall. DO NOT ORDER FROM SOIL DIRECT: I am so disappointed with the QUALITY of the dirt I received for my vegetable garden. NOTHING GROWS. I am a very experienced gardener and I am kicking myself for not doing soil testing on a sample product from this company. The dirt is nutrient depleted, highly compacted, and absolutely the worst possible investment I have made on any landscaping project. Not a real location. From street just looks like the back of a house and trash cans. No business sign.
