If I could give 0 stars here I truly would. This place is awful and the receptionists are extremely rude and uneducated. I was initially going here for a hormonal imbalance & pelvic pain. She did nothing to address the root cause but instead practically prescribed every form of contraception known to man. I have been seeing Dr. Homofar for a few years now. She is patient and truly listens to my concerns. She takes the time to educate and includes me in decision making.
Very nice office with kind reception and nurses. However Dr. Homafar saw me for a consult for tubal ligation and to treat a uti. She immediately dismissed tubal ligation because I was "too young to make such a permanent decision" and told me to get an iud despite me informing her that I am physically unable to have an iud placed and literally tried to do so a month earlier. I let me start off by saying I have horrible anxiety with doctors because of past experiences. I started seeing Dr Homafar a little over two years ago, when I first discovered I was pregnant with my first child. She delivered her and would have with my second if I didn't have to have an emergency c section. I'm a former NICU nurse so my expectations are very high. I also had a beautiful experience at UH Portage delivering my 1st son. I had great L&D nurses who really cared and knew what they were doing. Sadly UH decided to close the L&D unit at Portage and with my 2nd pregnancy I had to deliver at UH Geauga which was almost an hour from my home.
