Softstar handcrafts minimalist shoes at our workshop in Philomath, Oregon. We make shoes for infants, children, adults and althletes, for all occasions. Choose from our regular collection colors, or customize with your own unique color combinations. All shoes are designed in-house and sold exclusively through our website and local Philomath showroom.

Buyer Beware! , A total waste of my hard earned $230. I ordered a pair of softstar primal run amocs with the vibram mega grip. I was very happy to receive these and try these because they're the widest of any bsrefoot shoe, there leather, and there "handmade". I was planing on getting around 400-500 miles in these especially paying $230 for these, which are almost double the amount of a barefoot shoe. I ordered a pair of softstar primal run amocs with the vibram mega grip. Great store, friendly staff.
I love these softstars, I have 2 pairs. I also have other "barefoot shoes" but something about these make it my most used barefoot shoe mostly because of its width, natural material and how it molds to your foot. Their vision on this shoe is great, i'm glad they have the same outlook on shoes as i do and the people who believe in the barefoot motto. The width, leather, flexibility, and tread are great on these shoes. But these ripped around use of 80 miles, i don't mind spending around $200 for shoes but i expect more miles ... read more
