Makes shoes improperly, leaves customer with the bill. SSS was informed pre-making that I have a shorter foot and which foot that is. They made a too-long shoe for my shorter foot, causing trip and injury. They excused with 'this is within our margin of error' but the margin of error caused a disaster. Horribly made! I love barefoot shoes and have tried several brands, 3 of which I love. When I found Softstar was made in my home state I had to try them. They’re the worst barefoot product I’ve ever purchased. The leather is pretty and the faux fur top is nice. But the soles are a joke! Not even 1/4” thick, and so poorly stitched to the leather that there are puckers that look ridiculous. They’re also way too large. My first wide enough super comfortable shoes in 76 years. Primal Sawyer size 12, wide. Barefoot feet dimensions: 278l x 118w.
There shoes really helped with my bunion issues. But unfortunately there quality isn't that great. I have bought four different pairs of shoes from this company. Three didn't last a season without falling apart in some way or another and the fourth one didn't last the year. I will not being buying a fifth shoe. I wish they did repairs or refurbishing of there shoes. It seems like such a waist.
Shop said it was open today last week, we made plans around their stated schedule... Halfway there today, I glance at the website... Suddenly they're closed. Guess it's good that I checked midway, but it's still annoying to drive an hour for no reason.
