Dr. Donskaya expertise and awareness in her field has been second to none. I thoroughly feel she has been an instrumental part in my health and well being. I look forward my sessions with her.
Dr. Donskaya is very inept ! She met with me all of 5 minutes and then diagnosed me with bipolar disorder, even though I told her that I have never had a manic episode in my entire life. She refused to listen to anything I had to say. Stay away!
I recommend her treatment. I think majority of people complain because they don't get what they want from her treatment. She is good at what she does.
Dr. Donskaya is very forth right, meticulous in her work with patients, does not pacify her thoughts, and cater to her patients in that sense of giving in or what they want to hear. I initially hated going to my visits with her because of how she was. After the third or fourth visit I finally felt we had made progress. She has helped me in strides to make a better life for myself. Even though she may seem difficult she is getting me to better place in life and a stronger person.
This was the worst experience I have ever had with a psychiatrist in my life. Dr. Donskaya was extremely rude and would not listen to me try to explain my problems. She interrupted me non stop throughout the consultation. I have dibilitating anxiety and after trying to explain my symptoms she tried to diagnose me with bipolar disorder after talking to me for 2 minutes. She prescribed me a medication that I have already taken in the past that didn't work even though I told her this. Stay away.
Dr. Doskaya was kind yet firm and direct in what she thinks is best for me. My initial was what I needed to feel better and being under her care gives me a stronger sense of hope.
I have been seeing Dr. Donskaya for several years. She listens, is concerned and forthcoming. I think most of the negative reviews written are from people who didn't hear what they wanted to hear or just overall didn't get their way. I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for her help.
Dr. Donskaya was understanding yet focused on the point of what we discussed. My visit was productive and insightful.
Dr. Donskaya is great listener. I look forward to my next visit.
