I heard that Sofi's sells excellent Menudo so my friends and I arranged a breakfast gathering there. I ordered the Menudo and it was high-level Menudo. The broth was clean and flavorful. Dried oregano/chile flakes, limes and diced onions came with the bowl of Menudo. Additionally, the accompanying bread was much better than other places. Very disappointed with my experience here. The food was mediocre at best and definitely not worth the price. On top of that, one of the waitresses, Yvonne, was extremely rude and seemed annoyed anytime we asked for anything. Unfortunately, there was also a strong body odor smell that made the experience even more uncomfortable. Customer service and cleanliness/presentation matter just as much as the food, and this place really missed the mark for me. I won’t be coming back.
