Health score was pretty low… the workers were literally in there with no gloves handling the pizza and no hair coverings… pizza was decent… wasn’t greeted… I felt like I was bothering them and no one was even really in the restaurant..
I ordered aslice of supreme and some buffalo wings. The crust of the pizza is crunchy and fresh. It is delicious. The wings are amazing as well, but I should have ordered them a little spicier.
I wasn’t expecting the food experience we got .. I was expecting some just okay grub but what we received was AMAZING. Beautiful pie - pepperoni and roasted garlic … a really tasty caesar salad and the absurdly good mango habanero wings that were crisp, tasty and actually spicy hot ! The wife is taking home tiramisu but I had to eat my cannoli onsite … and believe me when I say, as an actual Queens / Flushing / Astoria pizza joint patron … this place is great. Eat here.
As someone who's admittedly a bit of a pizza snob, I thought the pizza was just okay. I ordered an 18" Mucho Meatsa for my team during a working lunch, and at $32.29 for a single pizza, it felt a bit overpriced. I did receive a 20% first-time customer discount, but even with the savings, I wasn't particularly impressed. The toppings were plentiful and flavorful, and the cheese was solid.
