Dr. Shapiro is the epitome of the top qualifications of a brilliant, kind, caring and knowledgable physician. When Dr. Goldbas retired, I thought I'd never find another personal physician with his wonderful ways......but Dr. Shapiro is, to me, the female version of Dr. Goldbas. Dr. Sofia Shapiro has been my primary care physician for more than 10 years. I am fortunate to be her patient. She is kind and compassionate, takes time to explain test results, stays up to date on the latest medical news, and has a terrific staff. I would recommend Dr. Shapiro to anyone looking for a really good primary care physician in the South Orange, New Jersey area. (I live in Manhattan)
Incredible physician, very caring and compassionate. She has excellent diagnostic skills and she listens very well. She is my primary physician and due to her experience and caring I will never leave her. She explains things very well and is a tremendous advocate for her patients. Her staff at the office are always helpful and respectful of patients as is Dr Shapiro. It is very hard to find a caring and experienced doctor such as Dr Shapiro and she is so respectful of her patients.
