The thing I like most about this place, it's not ACE!! They have a ton of stuff and no one following you around asking you a half dozen times if you need help finding something. Ok, so maybe they aren't the most extroverted people, but they've always been friendly and helpful if I can't find something (which rarely happens). Their prices are competitive with the big box stores, and you're supporting a small, hometown-owned family store.

Went in and behind the counter the man ignored me for 5 minutes. Then turned around and just looked at me. No Hello, can I help you, sorry you had to wait while I was gossiping. I just stood there waiting 2 minutes. Not a word. I asked a question and was told no before I finished. The lost a long time customer. I sure miss Charles. These Low browed folks that exemplify why Yoakum is a failing town. The first item was Nope. I was there to purchase about a thousand bucks of stuff that I got at Gonzales Build Ctr It’s a shame b... read more
