Called back in March to place an order for some Bermuda. I was told it would be 2 weeks before they were ready to cut due to dormancy. No problem..... It's now May and I have not received any word on my order. I called 3 times and left 2 voicemails in mid April before I got a call back saying they still weren't cutting. I have called every other company in town who verify's that they are cutting Bermuda but unfortunately their prices were too high for me. I was waiting to help a friend lay sod before the rain tomorrow. They said would deliver between 2pm and 4pm. No show. It’s now 7pm and he just now received a call and all they said was “this is Sod Works, do you still want your delivery?” No apology or anything. NO, don’t want delivery from you!!! Rather dirt yard than this type of customer service!!!!!
Called them 6-8 weeks ago to get on schedule for Sept light grading and install. Stood me up twice for site visit then decided they couldn't do job after calling them a couple times to find out what was up.
Family owned business that did a great job of fulfilling an order for a flatbed tractor trailer load of Meyer Zoysia sod. Sod was great quality, delivered exactly when promised at precisely the agreed upon price. In response to the review posted by Mike Alcorn, I personally feel it's pretty harsh to give a company a two star rating because their signage didn't meet your standards.
