I liked the atmosphere of the salon, but my stylist (I forgot her name, it might’ve been Kelly), cut my hair way shorter than what I asked. The first time I went I asked for a shoulder length cut, super simple, right? She cut my hair into a pixie. I went a second time about 6 months later to get a trim because the front pieces were really long and at an awkward length, I asked for about the same thing and mostly just the front pieces trimmed. Top notch salon with very friendly staff making everyone feel welcome.
Kelly Ansari is the best!! She gives great layers and volume, and does a great job replicating any photo you show
don’t book with Kelly unless you want to get cancelled on twice, 10 minutes before your appointment. I understand life happens, but when I move things around for a haircut or for the rescheduled one just for it to get cancelled again … is pretty crazy. If you know you have appointments at a certain time, maybe make sure you’re IN chico … or be at the salon on time so you don’t all of a sudden realize your car died 10 minutes before.
