My wife and I have been customers of the Social Studies Store in Cumberland since 2008 when on a long-haul bike trip. We go whenever we are near, which is not often. Wonderful items from SE Asia and elsewhere.

This store is not only beautiful but an awesome local source of socially conscious goods. The quality of the merchandise is outstanding and the good they are doing for indigent people is fantastic. I am ecstatic to have a place like this in Cumberland. My daughter and I made our first visit today and had a wonderful time with the owners learning things that can only be taught by those that have experienced them firsthand.
