I currently visited the Lagrange Ga SS office and I can understand the point of having an appointment, however the lady that helped me was very rude and short. As I was walking out, there was a couple that had an appointment, and they were stating the same things about the rep that assisted them. If there was an option for less than 1 I would put that….How in Gods name do you tell me I need another proof of my maiden name when I literally brought every single document in the DIRECTIONS from the GOVERNMENT SOCIAL SECURITY PAGE??? And how does my birth certificate along with my social security card not count? What a joke…..and that’s the nicest phrase I have….
I have heard a lot of good things about the Lagrange SSA office and today I personally found out that all of them are true! I had the pleasure of speaking with Jean Godfrey and she was so sweet, patient and kind. I needed help with an issue dealing with a family member who gets benefits from SSA and she not only fixed our problem but also referred us to resources in the community to help with food and utility assistance.
