I am deeply disappointed and disturbed by my experience at this Social Security office. The treatment we received was not only unprofessional, but also blatantly discriminatory. Staff required documentation that is not listed anywhere in the official SSA guidelines—requirements that they did not ask of other (white) individuals being helped at the same time.
