I had called the SSA to get a social security number 2 weeks ago for a child born out of the country and they told me to go into baxter with a birth cert and passport and they will give a SS# . I did exactly as they told me and he told too bad, no.. I am Govt and i will not follow the law. Goodbye.. It was the heavyset guy. 1st time i have everseen a govt employee completely disregard law.... Not sure if it was a bad day or just a miserable boss.
