Archie installed a custom patio French door with sidelights and rollaway screens for me 15 years ago. I remember being very happy with the price, result and service at the time. They are still performing flawlessly. Last week the keyway tailpiece in the lock failed - our primary door so by no means Archie’s fault. Archie is a true professional! Hard working and dedicated, precise and knowledgeable. I have had multiple windows in various homes installed over the years( not all Sobol) and have come to the conclusion that there is an insignificant difference between window manufacturers. It comes down to installation. I will not use anybody else other than Archie and his crew…they are the best in my experience
Archie and crew were amazing to work with. Real professionals all around. The entire job was done with care. They took the time to get our input during a few surprise issues found with our house and were just incredible to work with. We are super happy with the end result and can only say good things about this company. Sobol came highly recommended to us by a neighbour and I'm glad to pass the same recommendation along to anyone else looking to get their windows done as well. 5 Stars.
It was a real pleasure dealing with Sobol Inc., first for replacing a dozen windows and later for solving a longstanding problem with a leaky balcony door. They did excellent work in every respect, and we found the prices very reasonable. We will certainly call on them again if we need any further work on windows and/or doors.
Archie replaced the original wood side door to our house with a modern secure steel door, replaced the insulation under a large 25 year old north-facing bay window with better insulation, fixed a recently installed (by another contractor) casement window that no longer closed, and replaced a 30 old casement window that could not be repaired as parts were no longer available.
