terrible service I have been trying for months to get a leg for my loveseat. Each time I call I get the run around. I was willing to pay, order it myself from Flexsteel, anything to get the leg. I just kept getting a run around: "send pictures"( which I did) email this person, blah blah blah. My husband finally went to a local frurniture store and he walked out with one!! And I was thinking of ordering family room furniture from there. No way now!
Horrible experience Ordered six pieces in April 09, with a question to them regarding one of the item codes and whether it was for the black color. No response, so I assumed all was fine. No phone calls to update...you will ALWAYS have to contact them to find out the status. Finally they had all the pieces in September, so THEN I get an invoice in the mail for the second half of payment. Buyer Beware - This was my experience I did not have a good experience with Sobol House. I ordered a couch this summer. Several weeks later I was told that the material was discontinued. I picked a new fabric. A couple weeks later they indicated that they did not have the complete order and to complete the set, it would be an additional $300. Can't comment on quality because I'm still WAITING! Ordered bedroom furniture for my little girl in March of 09. Still have not received it. Have had to call Sobol house to find out what is going on. Never once did they call me to give me an update. Sent the final payment in May of 09 when the furniture arrived in their shop. They saie they would notify the shipping company at that time. wonderful service good people My wife and I purchase a house full of furniture last year. It arrived on time and was delivered in excellent condition. The sales staff were very professional and always answered our questions. It took a little longer than we thought but it was well worth the wait. We have recommended them to several neighbors who also are very satisfied. Good job and thanks again. Ben
This is a great company We ordered a dining room in October of 2008 and received it in January of 2009. We shopped for the best price and these people have the best pricing and service. I would recommend them to everyone.
excellent service We have ordered furniture from Sobol House since 1970 and everytime they have been professional, always returning phone calls and very helpful. The furniture manufacturers they deal with are of good quality and I would recommend them to anyone. We ordered Bassett furniture in 2008 and the furniture arrived in good condition and in the time frame we were given. Sobol House is a great company.
Not Reputable and took money that didn't belong to them Ordered furniture in March 2008. Waited and waited until September 2008 and was finally told our master bedroom furniture was discontinued. So we waiting for our other bedroom furniture to be delivered. It finally arrived in October but was in horrible condition. Tried to call Sobol house while it was being delivered but they didn't pick up. Buyer Beware I ordered two Flexsteel recliner chairs on August 28, 2007 and when I talked with Woody Sobol I told him that I wanted them my November 19th in time for Thanksgiving and he said this was possible. It is now almost 6 months later and I still do not have my furniture. I believe this company is not reputable and not forthcoming about the details regarding the length of time it will take to order the furniture and have it delivered.
