am writing this to express my extreme disappointment with the service I received at this Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacy today, April 6, around 11:30 AM. While most of the staff members were smiling and professional, I had a very distressing encounter with one specific pharmacy employee. The team at this pharmacy know their stuff and make you feel like you actually matter. Your health concerns are their concerns. Whether it's been a killer migraine, a kid with a sore throat, or some kind of toenail fungus, these folks have always been helpful in getting getting back to normal. I was running just one minute late to pick up my medication and tried calling the pharmacy several times, but no one answered. When I arrived at 8:01 pm, the doors were already locked, and the staff were fully dressed and standing by the door ready to leave. Did they really close everything in one minute? Obviously, they shut down much earlier. When I asked if it was still possible to get my medication, I was met with a very rude response: “Don’t you see we’re closed? Come tomorrow. Good service but schedule for a bit of a wait, they are sloooow. 3 hours to turn around a prescription that they only start when you get there.
