Poor hospitality won’t be back.
Visited SOAK Spa with a small group of friends (4 of us) this past weekend and had a somewhat disappointing experience. As we were being given a tour, we were told that we needed to make sure to be quiet throughout our 2-hour appointment, as this was a "spa, not a social club", which came off quite patronizing. There was a very small changing area which was overcrowded at times, and we were required to cram our belongings into the lockers... 2 adults per locker in the wintertime was comical. It’s a snowstorm today and when I call to reschedule they tell me I can’t reschedule.. very inconsiderate but you can take my money..
Very nice hidden Gem in the Downtown Detroit area. My masseuse was Erica B. She was so pleasant and it was refreshing. She explained what she was about to do and asked some questions about what I filled out on my sheet and was so engaged in what I had to say. She assured me.on some things and asked me how I felt with genuine professionalism from beginning until the end. I loved her aura and sense of concerns for my needs to assure I get what I wanted.
