so Many Books Used Paperbacks I love this store! Great selection in paperbacks, clean and sorted. They do not use some complicated formula when you are trading paperbacks either. It's very straightforward, 50% of the retail price is creditied to your account and you pay the sales tax and use the credit for purchases! Located on Front Street, parking can be a little hairy. sometimes I have to walk a couple of blocks to shop them. I would reccomend you give them a shot, either trading or browsing. Best Bookstore in the World This is one of my favorite places in the world to shop. I find great deals here all the time and Gloria, the owner, is a such a nice, sweet woman. She's always making reccommendations to me based on what I buy and giving me deals for being a good customer. She gives pretty good trade-in deals and has helped my collection of old Babysitter's Club books to flourish.
Hidden Treasure! I stopped by this store on a whim one day! What a great suprise! The lady that owns the store knows her stuff! and she is so friendly! If there something in particular you want, everything she has is computer-logged. She can grab it right away. The prices are great, too. There's a large selection of recent and genytly used books and some great, hard to find classics. Great parking out back, too, which is hard to find downtown! I hope she never leaves!
I Have Traded Many Books Here I used to have the Store right across from Gloria's Book Store and she was the most wonderful person. Always in good humor and a very sweet lady. She would let me go get a book to borrow and read while business was slow. We traded many books, I donated many books and bought quite a few as well. She has a wonderful variety of Mystery, Love Stories, Who Done It's, and Childrens Books. She also carries a lot of the Harliquin Books for those who read them.
