I really don’t like writing negative reviews, and this is actually my first Google review, but after spending over $20,000 with So Cal Speed Shop in Waco, I feel like I need to share my experience so other customers can make an informed decision. This was not an ordinary vehicle. It was my 1969 Charger R/T, and the car was at their shop for almost a year. David & the team at So-Cal Waco are top notch. This 50yo 302 was not running so well, but thanks to So-Cal and their magic touch, it’s running like a dream!
They knew what to do on the spot, and fixed my car. My 1947 Ford Super Deluxe runs like a champ.

The owner lost our whole rear end and lied about it for 1.5 years! No offer to refund the $1300 already paid, no offer to replace the rear end with another, nothing but more lies. We dropped off the rear end in 2024! Everytime we checked on it David always had an excuse. It’s with so and so, it’s waiting on a part, over and over again. For 1.5 years he continually lied about it. Now 1.5 years later he finally admits it’s lost and gone. Someone he gave it to, to fix, died and they dropped the ball.
