Didn't have as big a selection of fixtures to touch and feel, but the staff was really friendly and talked to me about the difference in quality and what to look for during my home remodel. They do a lot of custom orders and there phones were always ringing so I think that's what their real strength is. Easy parking.

AVOID THIS PLACE – There are many choices in plumbing supply places and this is one to avoid. The manager, Jose, has decided that being cold and rude is the best way to handle a problem. I wanted to return an item which didn't fit in my bathroom and he refused to take it back even though the receipt did NOT say it was not refundable nor did the salesman mention it at the time of purchase. Knowledgeable history! – I have been shopping with them as a designer for years. Not only have I always warmly welcomed into their showroom but I have found them to know the most about plumbing & appliances. The parts department are a little rough but they know what they are talking about. I feel they are more personable with their clientelle than any other place in town. Comparing to the chain stores Snyder Diamond has always been preferable in customer care. Especially in an industry where it's easy to make a mistake.

Super Great – My shower fixture was leaking so I went to Lowes and Home Depot to find it and failed. I was informed that I had a European brand. My nieghbor told me about this store in Santa Monica- Snyder Diamond. He told me to go see the guys in the parts counter. As soon as i got there i with my part they already knew what I need. They were very helpful and knowlegable. They had my part in stock and I was able to fix my shower. I would check them out!!

Good selection – Early this year I was remodeling my master bathroom and was shopping for a list of things my contractor gave me. I decided to do some shopping around town, and found that the prices are petty much the same anyware i went. my contractor told me to go to Snyder Diamond in Santa Monica. I went there on a Saturday witch is probably a bad idea because they are very busy. Avoid the parts department at all cost – It's difficult to imagine finding ruder people working behind a parts counter than they have here. I have never written a review for a store before, but the service was so bad beyond compare that I feel I need to warn others. If you must buy appliances there, be warned never to go back for parts.

High end appliances – Surprisingly wide selection on higher end kitchen and bathroom appliances and hardware. Ask for Larry, he is a bit over the top, but knows his stuff. They will also match prices and I was unable to find anything they carried at a lower price. The delviery service they use is horrible and won't bring it in the house (which Larry warned me about) so if you can pick it up save the money.
