This was a fantastic location! The view was fabulous! The front desk was super helpful and very attentive. Our cabin was great. My only complaint was the size of the bed. At 6'3"and 250 lbs, I have definitely outgrown a queen sized bed. If it had been a king bed, it would have been PERFECT! But my wife, whom I describe as "fun sized" (5' 2.5") said the whole place was "super cute"! Everything was tiny just like her! See the pics.
My husband and I had a wonderful 2 night stay for our anniversary. The setting is beautiful and so peaceful. The grounds are gorgeously maintained. The cabins are cozy and well appointed. The free kayaks were a fun way to explore and spend the morning and we enjoyed the fire pits in the evening. Would definitely stay again!
Can't say enough good things. Extremely peaceful, quiet, with amazing views. Well appointed cabins! Kayaks are a huge plus although we were disappointed to have to stay in the bay ( but understandable).
We discovered this tranquil, beautiful place on San Juan Island during a recent trip and LOVED it! We had debated staying in Friday Harbor versus here, and are so glad we chose Snug Harbor Resort. The setting is gorgeous and peaceful, and a great launching place to visit all the wonderful spots on the island. Our cabin had a kitchen, so we brought some grocery items for breakfast (although they have a cute coffee shop with pastries, etc.).
