We had an absolutely incredible time dog sledding today with Snowy Owl Sled Dog Tours! From the moment we arrived, the energy and excitement of the dogs were contagious. You can truly tell how much the guides care for their teams; the dogs are clearly well-loved, healthy, and born to run. Such a wonderful and unique experience. The dogs and their handlers are so great to work with. Highly recommend if you’re in the Canmore area especially if the snow environment is foreign to you…..but even if it’s not. :-)
My husband and I took the 4 hour Sunfeather Trail dog sled tour on March 14, 2026. It was on our bucket list and Snowy Owl Dog Sled Tours did not disappoint. We had a fabulous time! Our guide Macarena was absolutely awesome. We chose not to be the driver of the sled so we had Macarena as our driver as we comfortably sat in the sled.
