We recently travelled from Brisbane to Phillip island for the MotoGP. Travelled through here as part of our route. The road is a fantastic ride on a motorcycle. We had little traffic, fantastic weather and a great day all round. Stopped at a few nice spots for pictures which was fantastic. Didn't see any snow in mid October which was a little bit of a disappointment, but can't control the weather. Worth the drive for sure. If you had time, stop at the hot springs towards tumut.
