Two GSPs REMI & Luna now 3 are excellent dogs for an amateur hunter like me. Their training and retention has far exceeded my wildest expectations. Thank you Alec!!! Many referrals to come your way. Our Chesapeake Bay Retriever named Mackinaw spent six weeks at Snowbound Kennels and I never dreamed that he would have changed this much. He is a completely different dog: He went from being a wildly out-of-control Chesapeake to listening, responding, heeling, and coming when we call. Our family life improved so much due to this training--but more importantly his life improved dramatically as well. He can now be off leash and live a great dog life. Thank you so much for all the great work, Alec. You are so talented.
Alec trained our lab Annabelle. He did a great job and she remains an exceptional family dog but has really come to shine in a duck blind. We will be sending our WPG to him when we finally get our puppy
Our GSP Lakota was trained with snow bound kennels and we honestly are so pleased and thrilled with the results of his training! He is one heck of a bird dog thanks to My father in laws GSP Champ was also trained and they too received amazing results! This trainer cares about your dog and their success and will be there for you as owners whenever you need him! Alec took my 6 y.o. GSP, who had a Junior Hunter Title, and trained her to the Master level. He is now tuning her up (she turned 10 on Valentines Day) for Master Advanced tests coming up in April. Her daughter who just turned 7 will be joined him at his winter training grounds for a tune up towards passing more Senior level tests in April. Both girls have personalities requiring gentle positive training methods, and Alec has done a wonderful job working with them.
Alec took the time to walk my wife through e-collar training to the point that she advocates for it when she talks dogs. This was so important to her before leaving our family/hunting setter at "summer camp". I am very happy with how well trained my dog was in such a short and flexible time frame. Two years old and he's only getting better! Obedient to the whistle and voice without fail. He's a joy to walk with in the woods and a great family dog too. Well trained dogs are welcomed everywhere.
