Six of us stayed at Snowbird while we did the 4-day Snowy Alpine walk. What a fabulous place with fabulous hosts Ingrid and Patrick! We got them to provide a two-course dinner each night which was tasty and a good size … and you can buy beer and wine at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended especially after a day hiking! We loved coming home each day (it really did feel like home) to hang out in the large comfortable lounge area with other hikers and great views. We will definitely be back!!
I can't believe this place isn't booked out all through the summer. My fiancee and I are aspiring snowbirds; she escapes her frigid Minnesotan winter to come here during our Aussie summer. Ingrid and Patrick are really just so lovely and friendly and helpful and generous. Beautiful view from the lounge, plenty of facilities to use, and really just a nice place to be. Super convenient locaton too, if you're here to hike!
