I am a minority-owned, woman-owned small business, and I completed contracted work with Snow Companies in mid-October of this year. Upon finishing the project, I submitted my invoice and all required vendor paperwork, including my updated banking information. I was assured that everything was received and that my payment would be processed. Snow Companies reached out to me to participate in a patient advocacy event that was scheduled for several weeks out. There were several red flags, notably - After weeks of no movement, they said the contract was delayed, and they wanted me to commit to scheduling travel to another state before giving me the contract and officially confirming the amount they would pay me.
