This was a highlight of our trip to CO! One of the coolest experiences ever. Our guide, Sarah, was phenomenal. It was fun to hear her talk about all of the different personalities of the dogs. We did the tour of the kennel & then the ride on the golf cart. It was so cool to see how excited & ramped up all of the dogs got when the harnesses started coming out. Looking for something unique to do in Breck in the summer. I stumbled across Snow Caps Sled Dogs. I was excited to see they had summer sled tours. We booked the Summer Golf Cart Sled tour and it was so much fun. Allison our guide was great. We had a meet and greet with the sled dogs and puppies prior to our tour which was fantastic. Allison provided so much information on the kennels, dogs and how they live throughout the year. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. So much better than the typical gondola ride. We visited in the summer and took a tour of the facilities and some of our group did the summer dog sled. It's so much fun! You can play with the dogs, and the sledding is not to be missed! The guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. It was interesting to hear about how the dogs are taken care of, their instincts to run, and how they're trained. A definite must-do while in Breckenridge.
Summer dog sledding was an amazing experience. Alison was a phenomenal guide and very knowledgeable about each and every dog! We will be back to try it in the winter!

Dog sledding at Snow Caps is a must-do event. Julia was an awesome guide. Tyra Banks is a great lead dog. You get to drive the sled and make friends with the dogs. Beautiful scenery. They let you borrow snowsuit and boots. Be sure to try and book a couple of weeks in advance. Although they fit us in the day before.
