This hospital took my insurance information and confirmed I was covered before booking an appointment for an annual (just a check up, nothing special). It should have been free. After the annual, I received a $754 bill. I called the billing department to understand why this happened (why did they say I was covered when I wasn’t?). They “routed it to management for review.” Several times they sent me a bill, I called, they said they’d address it, and they never followed up. Now I’ve received a bill stating the balance is over... read more

In the radiology department- the individual I spoke to on the phone, Marsha, was extremely rude. While I understand she only does imagining and does not read x-rays, SVH urgent care told me to call the radiology department to ask about my x-ray reading, because they don’t know how to read x-rays, and when I called Marsha she was nothing but rude, inconsiderate, and unhelpful. Service providers are fine, but the administrative staff and billing are a joke. They surprised me with a bill that took 2 years to send me and tried to blame my insurance. It was them. I disputed the bill and even followed up. Instead of actually reviewing the dispute, everything was ignored and I've been threatened the bill will be sent to collections. Also, services provided here are WAY overpriced. Your out of pocket expenses will be far less elsewhere. Stay away from this bloated greedy hospital district if you can.

SCAM OF A HOSPITAL. Unbelievable. This place never ran my insurance and also sent me out the door with an IV in my arm after giving me no other treatment. Will never take anyone I care about there.
