Snoozy Buyer Beware! I contacted Snoozy Trailers to build a trailer in August of 2024. I was told by Tommy Pownall, the owner to send a deposit check for $10,000 made out to Barracuda Boats and he would build my trailer in 12 weeks. My check cleared on 8/23/2024. On June 30, 2025, still no trailer. On July 11th I informed Mr. Pownall I would be purchasing another trailer and was told my deposit would be returned. Having had horrendous experiences with several junk RVs thrown together in Indiana, my wife and I researched fiberglass travel trailers for several years before deciding that a Snoozy II Twin would be perfect for us. We pulled the trigger and purchased ours (#91) earlier this year. The build quality and after sale service and support far surpasses any of the other brands in the price range. We love our Snoozy 2! It’s light enough that it can easily be towed with our Honda Pilot but still has plenty of room and storage. A 6’ 3” person is able to stand inside. We’ve camped comfortably through hurricanes, snowstorms, and hot weather, and for several weeks at a time. Shaun and the team are friendly and knowledgeable and the service is great.
We own a 2014 Lil Snoozy and brought it to Snoozy II for some TLC. Needless to say Sean is the real deal!! He always helps us. They made sure we were more in love with our camper than before!!! If we ever need it replaced we will call Snoozy II immediately but with the way it is built we don't expect to!
