Don't use him for an attorney. In my opinion Derek is not a good attorney. The small amount I received for my injuries (<5k). I am still paying out of pocket for the injuries I sustained. I had see an orthopedic doctor for over 9 years. He takes the easy way out. The easy settlement way, like convincing you to settle for less. He wouldn't even make an appointment to interview my orthopedic doctor. And he said so. I couldn't go back to work. Find someone else, who will fight for you.
Derek is a very nice man who is very dedicated to his clients. He is very professional but is not afraid to fight the large insurance companies to get fair and just compensation to those who have suffered a serious injury. Derek is very smart and well educated. His legal assistants are very nice and obviously hard workers. I strongly recommend that you use Shlesinger and deVilleneuve attorneys. They are the best law firm with the highest ratings.
