I am a local here in the Flathead and fly fish regularly. I buy all my flies from Snappy Sport Senter, the staff is very knowledgeable and share techniques and the hot fly for the day. Thanks Snappys.
When we first moved to the valley in 1996, a friend recommended Snappy and I've been going back ever since. It is normally a good experience, and I always buy my fishing equipment there. We do now have other options in the Valley that have come in or expanded in the past several years, but Snappy seems to be the best for the things I need for fishing and information.
If you are needing anything at all this is the place to GO! I started spending a lot of time in here this past summer. After taking a very informative and well taught fly fishing class. Since then I always go there first whenever I need anything. Wether that being items I need or advice for where to fish and how to fish it. Went shopping for several items on Dec 1st. They didn’t have the gun we were looking for but found a few other things. I had asked the gentleman in the gun department if they gave a Veteran discount, he said yes just not on guns. When we went to check out I asked for Veteran discount the woman said they don’t give one. I told her what the gentleman had said and she informed me they only give discounts to retirees and Active Duty.
