I’m very disappointed with my experience at this gym. I contacted them in July to cancel my membership, as I hadn’t been able to use the facilities since June. Despite letting them know, I was still forced to pay through to the end of August because of their rigid written “full calendar month’s notice” policy. I understand gyms have terms and conditions, but there was absolutely no flexibility or willingness to show understanding of my situation. The gym itself is fine, not going to win any awards, but it’s cheap enough + it’s over 18s so you don’t get the groups of students benching for 2hrs at a time. Members are friendly, although there are quite a few donuts full-stacking stuff with woeful technique and dropping the weights, or doing a full 48 minutes (I know the exact time as I was waiting from the minute I walked in) on the only narrow cables in there - but I guess that’s just gyms in this age of main-character whoppers.
