Snap refuses to repair under warranty (check consumer law on that). update: The problem was their install work - not the aircon unit. I had to pay someone else to fix their electrical install (not sealed, water ingress). They'll send you to the manufacturer and refuse further service, unless you want to pay for it. They also installed the air conditioner on a circuit used by another air con unit, potentially voiding the warranty.
Professionally done and quick. Highly recommended. Previous job. Now, ask to quote for similar job done previously but now charge a call out fee for quoting. No thanks
Asked for a quote for 2 split systems (one 9.5kw), 8 light fittings, and 4 ceiling fans. All supplied/installed. Snap wanted $89 to do the quote + $49 if we didn't go through with it. Advertises on their website "Commitment Free installation quotes", and also has in their google listings "Call now for a free quote!". Very tempted to lodge a complaint with the ACCC regarding false advertising.

Used Snap approx 2 years ago and regret that decision. I had to have the unit taken down as after installing the unit in their own words the “most suitable location given the age of the house” they installed a brackets bolt on a already damaged weatherboard right at the end of the board causing it to split. They now refuse to retify this (they quoted me $1500 to fix this mistake) and I’m taking them to QCAT.
