Jon was awesome! I wanted a solo acoustic guitarist to add a little ambience for our ceremony and he did a great job. He played multiple specific songs I asked for, and though as the bride I didn't get to hear the prelude while I was getting ready, many of my guests complimented the music. My only (not necessarily negative) feedback would be that if, as a company, you frequently have outdoor weddings, perhaps having your own umbrella set up would be a good investment. Sounds of Summit was a beautiful addition to our wedding ceremony at the wedding tree! It was kind of last minute to have live music at our wedding ceremony & Shelby was incredibly easy to work with and communicative.
We absolutely loved having Sounds of Summit f/k/a Snake River Strings play at our wedding in Jackson Hole. We had a guitar and fiddle duet for our ceremony, and they captured the exact rustic, western-country vibe we envisioned. They even learned special songs just for us, like Run by George Strait and Sunrise by Ryan Bingham (Shelby killed the fiddle intro!), which made the day feel even more personal and unique. Sounds of Summit played for my mother's celebration of life on very short notice, and they were absolutely amazing. We had so many of her friends at the event comment on how "her" it was and how much she would have enjoyed it, and how it made her feel like some part of her was there. Thank you all so much for what you contributed!
Sounds of Summit played for our ceremony, cocktail hour and through dinner and we couldn't recommend them more! It added the perfect touch and set the tone for the evening! They were so great!!
