I hired Sounds of Summit to play for a community event, and it was absolutely lovely. They were all so professional and played a fun repertoire in the time alloted. Worked with Sounds of Summit for GENTRI Christmas 2025 in Idaho Falls. They provided a string quintet that was highly professional, well-rehearsed, and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend for any live professional strings setting.
Jon was awesome! I wanted a solo acoustic guitarist to add a little ambience for our ceremony and he did a great job. He played multiple specific songs I asked for, and though as the bride I didn't get to hear the prelude while I was getting ready, many of my guests complimented the music. My only (not necessarily negative) feedback would be that if, as a company, you frequently have outdoor weddings, perhaps having your own umbrella set up would be a good investment. Sounds of Summit was a beautiful addition to our wedding ceremony at the wedding tree! It was kind of last minute to have live music at our wedding ceremony & Shelby was incredibly easy to work with and communicative.
We absolutely loved having Sounds of Summit f/k/a Snake River Strings play at our wedding in Jackson Hole. We had a guitar and fiddle duet for our ceremony, and they captured the exact rustic, western-country vibe we envisioned. They even learned special songs just for us, like Run by George Strait and Sunrise by Ryan Bingham (Shelby killed the fiddle intro!), which made the day feel even more personal and unique.
