We started having charging issues with our van while exploring the Black Hills. Eric quickly identified the problem and installed a new alternator. Thanks to his fast work, we were back on the road and able to continue our trip. Highly recommend!
Phenomenal service! My check engine light went on suddenly this morning and they were very swift and professional, explained the problem to me in detail so I understood everything, and got me back on the road in under an hour (even though they were having an incredibly busy day). The waiting area was comfortable and had pretty good complimentary coffee. I'm just passing through, but if I lived here I would be a regular customer! Thank you Eric and team!
Eric and his staff were highly recommended by a staff member of Custer State Park when I encountered a problem with my Chevy Tahoe at the campground. We were in town from Canada when we had wheel problems on our truck. After a horrible experience at a nearby service station that almost cost us 2 days of our vacation and thousands of dollars, we happened to call Smyth Automotive for a 2nd opinion. These friendly folks saved our bacon while we were on a road trip, towing a travel trailer, about 1,300 miles from home. Long story short, I missed a major maintenance item (front brakes) on my pre-trip prep, and found myself metal-to-metal while touring Custer State Park. Smyth got us in and out that same day, and on our way safely for a very reasonable price.
